Green Tip of the Day: TVA’s Green Switch Program

TVA’s Green Power Switch program lets consumers offset their electricity use with renewable energy sources like solar, wind and bio-energy. Green Power Switch is sold in blocks, and two blocks equal 25 percent of the average monthly residential use in the Tennessee Valley region. Presently over 11,000 residential customers and 527 businesses in the TVA region have signed up for the program.
