The Green Minute: Eco-Friendly Fashion

A couple of years ago, I met world-renowned eco-friendly fashion designer Natalie Chanin giving a presentation in Birmingham, Alabama. A leader in the “slow design” movement, Chanin’s clothes and accessories line – Alabama Chanin, is all made by hand by talented artisans who live near my hometown of Florence, Alabama. The hand sewing, the use of organic and recycled materials, all the items in the Alabama Chanin collection is sustainable and made with love.
