Located a little over an hour from the Grand Canyon, Northern Arizona University has made campus sustainability a priority within its university system. Led by President John Haeger, the university is striving to become carbon neutral by 2020. Below is a list of NAU’s accomplishments, LEED buildings and facilities and a video by Heather Farley, the coordinator for NAU’s Office of Sustainability describing their efforts to reduce the university’s carbon footprint.
