Steroids, Baseball and Climate Change (video)

Recently, the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) and the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) produced a lighthearted video explaining why some people call carbon dioxide the steroids of the climate system.

Titled Steroids, Baseball and Climate Change – What do home runs and weather extremes have in common?,  the two-minute video shows how the problem with steroids in Major League Baseball is similar to our problems with climate change and extreme weather.

Check it out and let us know what you think about this approach to educating people about climate change and extreme weather.
