Greenovations: Birdair – Tensile Architecture

Many of us have seen the shade-providing small scale canvas umbrellas that are shaped differently from the traditional dome shapes we have grown up with.

These products usually use less material and are considered a more environmentally friendly shade solution than traditional methods (excluding trees, of course!).

Now imagine an entire stadium or the awning at your local restaurant given the same treatment.

This is what Birdair does. The system can be used for something as small as a bus stop to as large as a stadium. They provide exceptional longevity and exceptional design.
